Hiking or trail lingo - If you're going to walk the walk, you gotta talk the talk ...

Obviously quite popular on US long distance trails like AT, PCT or GDT; not sure though if hikers on European long distance trails are familiar with these terms. Anyway, as a would-be sobo thru-hiker of grönabandet I'd be looking forward to some trail magic if I couldn't reach my mail drops in time. ;) And why not get a trail name. Any suggestions?
